The speaker for this meeting will be Joan Ruane talking on "History and Importance of Hemp to Our Planet". Joan Ruane is a renowned spinning instructor of cotton and hemp and will be presenting on the history, current use and importance of Cannabis sativa (hemp) as a fibre.
