The Ruth Anstey Memorial Lecture – Coleen Nimetz: Instructor with the Olds College Master Spinners’ Program & Instructor with “Ply Away”.  Author of Articles in “Spin-Off” & “Ply”. Exhibitor in the Tzouhalem Guild Show at Cowichan Bay.

Coleen has taught everything from technical aspects of spinning to spinning luxury fibres, as well as natural & chemical dyeing. She will be speaking about her experiences working & living on a Silk Farm in Laos, as well as her current focus, reeling filament silk from cocoons and working with the various types of silk. As Coleen says, “My passion is silk.”
